Orientation programme on Poshan Tracker Application held at Bandipora

BANDIPORA, May 30: An orientation programme on the Poshan Tracker Application was today held at Bandipora to promote nutrition and healthy living, besides familiarize participants with the functionalities and benefits of the Poshan Tracker Application.

The Poshan Tracker Application is an innovative digital tool developed to monitor and track the nutritional status of individuals, particularly women and children, as part of the government’s flagship Poshan Abhiyan initiative. The application enables healthcare workers, frontline workers and other stakeholders to collect, record and analyze data related to nutrition, growth and development indicators.

The orientation programme was attended by District Programme Officer Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak; CDPO Bandipora, Gh Mohammad, healthcare professionals, Anganwadi workers, and members of organizations working in the field of nutrition and child development.

The District Programme Officer Bandipora on the occasion said that the Poshan Tracker Application has the potential to revolutionize the way we monitor and address nutritional challenges. He said this orientation programme has equipped us with the necessary knowledge and skills to maximize the application’s benefits, ultimately leading to improved nutrition outcomes for women and children in Bandipora.

The programme provided an opportunity for the attendees to gain hands-on experience with the application and understand its potential for improving overall nutritional outcomes in Bandipora.

Earlier, the State Nodal Officer Poshan Tracker, Ankush Sharma delivered presentations on the features and functionalities of the application, highlighting its ability to generate real-time reports and track progress towards the achievement of key nutrition goals.
