J&K ICC’s Chairman congratulates CM Omar Abdullah and LG Manoj Sinha on revival of Darbar Move

Jammu, October 17: Chairman of Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) J&K, Rahul Sahai, congratulated Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for announcing the revival of the historic Darbar Move tradition in Jammu & Kashmir. He also expressed deep appreciation and thanked Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his approval of this significant decision. Sahai stated that the revival of the Darbar Move will immensely benefit the economies of both regions by ensuring balanced administrative presence and equitable economic activity throughout the year.

“This decision will bring renewed vibrancy to Jammu’s trade and business sector, as our markets and bazaars will once again be filled with customers from the Kashmir region during the winter months,” he said. He further added that it will strengthen the bond of brotherhood and harmony between the two regions and communities. Sahai reiterated ICC Jammu’s full support to all initiatives that aim to promote economic revival, inter-regional cooperation, and social harmony across the Union Territory.
