DLSA Reasi conducts anti- child labour drive in Katra market

REASI, DECEMBER 06: Under the visionary leadership of Khalil Ahmed Choudhary, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Reasi (also Pr. District and Sessions Judge Reasi) and Pooja Gupta, Secretary DLSA Reasi, District Legal Services Authority Reasi, in collaboration with the office of Assistant Labour Commissioner conducted a Rescue and Rehabilitation drive to check Child and Adolescent labour in the Main Market area of Katra, here today.

In addition to this, a legal awareness program regarding DAWN Scheme was also organised at Government Higher Secondary School, Mahore, wherein Advocate Imran Akram, Panel Lawyer was the resource person. The program was attended by the students and staff of the school and PLVs wherein they were made aware of the scheme.

Apart from above activities, poster pasting was also done at prominent places in district Reasi regarding the NALSA Helpline 15100 as well as general masses were made aware about the free legal Aid.
