LEH, February 03: Director, Rural Development Department, UT Ladakh, Tahir Hussain, chaired a meeting to review the block-wise financial and physical progress under various schemes executed by the Rural Development Department.
The concerned departmental officers and officials, including the Assistant Development Commissioner, Leh; District Panchayat Officer, Leh; Executive Engineer, REW; all Block Development Officers; Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, and MIS Operators attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Director RDD reviewed in depth the village and block-wise progress of ongoing and planned works/activities under various schemes under RDD. He directed the BDOs and officials to execute the pending works on priority before the end of the current financial year 2022-23.
Director RDD extensively assessed the financial and physical status of works under the Special Development Package (SDP), State Sector, Grant-in-Aid. He also reviewed the Works Plan Preparation status of ongoing works for the next FY 2023-24 under SDP and State Sector.
The meeting also deliberated the progress made under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), Block Development Council Fund, achievements of man-days target under MGNREGA and its wage list rejection and regeneration status, Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin and all its indicators, status of Amrit Sarovar, Aadhar seeding and T+ 8 status.
Further, Director RDD directed the BDOs to achieve all the parameters under MGNREGA and SBM(G) within the stipulated timeline. He also directed to complete the targets fixed for Grey water Management.
