DIET Leh observes Janbhagidari events in GHS Chumathang & Leh Valley School

Leh, June 10: As part of Janbhagidari events, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh visited Government High School Chumathang and Leh Valley School, Skara Yokma to celebrate the Janbhagidari program on June 9^th.

At GHS Chumathang, apart from a traditional cultural program by FLN students, a community mobilization programme was also held. Sarpanch Mentok Lanzes was the chief guest and Chairman, Village Education Committee, Tsering Kunzes was the guest of honour.

Headmaster, GHS Chumathang Padma Tsering and HoD, DIET Leh, Tsering Yangdol highlighted the responsibilities of each citizen in upliftment of education.

Meanwhile, art and craft program was organised at Leh Valley School for FLN Students as a part of the Janbhagidari event in which the students enthusiastically participated. Principal Leh Valley School, Tundup Angmo was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
