DC Kupwara pays surprise visit to CHC Kralpora

Directs Hospital Management to keep functional Jan aushadhi Medical Store round the clock

KUPWARA, April 29: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray today paid a surprise visit to Community Health Centre (CHC) Kralpora to take stock of the facilities being provided to the patients.

The DC inspected various wards, held interaction with patients and enquired about the facilities being provided to them from Hospital Administration.

Dr Sagar in his surprise visit inspected various sections of the hospital including Labour Room, Casualty ward, Registration Section, Dispensary, Lab section, and Gynae Section. He interacted with the hospital staff including Doctors and Paramedical Staff, besides, checked their attendance and duty roaster. He also interacted with the patients and enquired about the treatment facilities.

After taking stock of the facilities, the DC expressed satisfaction over better functioning of the hospital.

He directed the hospital Management to keep the open and functional Jan Aushadhi Medical Store round the clock so that medicines remain available to patients during day and night and patients and attendants do not face problems.

The DC received feedback from patients regarding the facilities being provided to them in the CHC.

 On the occasion, locals demanded construction of fencing around the CHC and completion of the second storey of the hospital building.

He assured them that their genuine demands will be addressed appropriately.

The DC directed CHC staff to work with more dedication and ensure that all the patients especially coming from far flung areas like Meelyal, Kach Hama, Farkyan, Chowkibal, and Budnumbal are provided better healthcare facilities.

Speaking at the occasion, the DC said that the health sector is among the top most priorities of the Government and District Administration is committed to provide all possible support to boost the health facilities in the district.
