Leh, June 03: District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh under the guidance of Principal, Tsetan Dorjey conducted a Jan Bhagidari event at Govt High School, Chuchot Yokma today.
Field activities/events under Jan Bhagidari began with the flagging off of a team of faculty by Principal DIET Leh to conduct a Yoga program for Children with special needs (CWSN) students at the school. Around 30 CWSN students and others participated in the program.
The Jan Bhagidari events are being celebrated in all government schools across Indian States from 1-15th June 2023 as per the recommendation of the G20 Education Working Group meeting. The main theme of the event is ‘Ensuring Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, especially in the context of blended learning’.
