BJP Scripts History in Kerala: Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Victory Heralds a New Dawn in Southern Politics — Pawan Sharma
Jammu, 14 December 2025:
BJP Jammu & Kashmir State Secretary Pawan Sharma today hailed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s historic victory in the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation, describing it as a transformational milestone in Kerala’s political history and a powerful validation of the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a statement to the media, Sharma said the victory reflects the people’s unwavering faith in the BJP’s ideology and governance model, meticulously shaped under the decisive guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose Nation-first approach has inspired trust across every region of the country.
“This landmark victory in Thiruvananthapuram is not merely an electoral success; it is a decisive mandate for clean governance, transparency and inclusive development. “It is also a resounding endorsement of transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose vision continues to reshape India’s political and developmental narrative,” Sharma said.
Sharma extended special congratulations to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, acknowledging his unparalleled organizational acumen and strategic clarity, which have played a pivotal role in strengthening the party’s footprint even in traditionally challenging political terrains.
“The tireless efforts, strategic insight and organizational discipline provided under the leadership of Amit Shah have been instrumental in converting commitment into victory,” he added.
Sharma further congratulated the Kerala BJP state leadership, applauding their perseverance, unity and grassroots connect, which ultimately translated into this historic mandate.
“From booth-level karyakartas to the state leadership in Kerala, the dedication, patience and relentless service of our workers have borne fruit. They have demonstrated that sincere engagement with the people always triumphs,” Sharma stated.
Highlighting the broader political significance, Sharma said the victory has decisively broken decades-old political monopolies in Kerala and signalled the people’s desire for politics of performance over propaganda.
He emphasized that the mandate reflects the growing confidence of urban voters in BJP’s governance model, which focuses on efficient civic administration, modern infrastructure, sanitation, digital governance, women empowerment and meaningful opportunities for youth.
Drawing a national parallel, Sharma said the Thiruvananthapuram result mirrors a pan-India shift, where citizens are increasingly rewarding BJP for its stable leadership, policy consistency and development-oriented governance.
“Just as Jammu & Kashmir has witnessed transformative change under BJP’s leadership, Kerala too is now stepping confidently towards a future anchored in development, transparency and national pride,” Sharma remarked.
Pawan Sharma congratulated the newly elected BJP leadership of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation and expressed confidence that the new dispensation will set new benchmarks in urban governance, ensuring responsive administration and efficient delivery of civic services.
Sharma further said, the historic victory is a clear signal for the future, reaffirming that under the collective leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, J.P. Nadda and committed state leaders, the BJP will continue to expand its reach with the trust and blessings of the people.
