ADDC presides over orientation camp; Reviews eKYC, Mutation   of PM-KISAN Beneficiaries, legal Heirs of Kishtwar Tehsil

KISHTWAR, MAY 25: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Sham Lal today presided over Kissan Sampark Abhiyan Training camp held at Panchayat Lachdayaram B.

The training camp was organised as part of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme to promote effective communication and awareness among farmers about the agriculture and allied sector schemes of the government.

The Kissan Sampark Abhiyan Training camp aimed to equip farmers with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their agricultural practices for enhanced income.

The camp featured comprehensive sessions delivered by the District Agriculture Officer (DAO) Kishtwar and a team of Agriculture and Allied sector resource persons. Various aspects of modern farming techniques, crop management and allied activities were covered during the training sessions.

The event received an enthusiastic response from the farmers, who actively participated in interactive discussions, sharing their experiences, and exchanging ideas. The training camp served as a platform for farmers to enhance their knowledge, learn from experts, and explore new opportunities to improve their agricultural productivity.

In addition to the training camp, ADDC Kishtwar chaired a joint meeting of officers and field functionaries from the Revenue Department and the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare of Kishtwar Tehsil. The purpose of the meeting was to review the progress under eKYC and Mutation of legal heirs of PM-KISAN beneficiaries (Deceased one).

During the meeting, the concerned field functionaries were urged to work collaboratively and ensure timely resolution of pending inheritance mutations of PM-KISAN beneficiaries.

 Emphasis was placed on addressing the backlog and streamlining the process to expedite the clearance of pending cases.

ADDC instructed the officials to reach out the eligible legal heirs and encourage them to apply online on the portal for the Mutations so that the benefit of PM Kisan is extended to eligible beneficiaries.

He further directed the concerned officers to accelerate the e-KYC registration process of the leftover beneficiaries in a time-bound manner and made it clear that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard.

The meeting was attended by ACR Kishtwar Varunjeet Singh Charak, DAO Sanjay Kumar,Nodal Officer PM Kisan Jamsheed Hussain Dev, AEOs, JEOs besides Revenue Patwaris.
