A preparatory meeting for the upcoming Matriculation Level Examination conducted by the Ladakh Subordinate Service Staff Selection Board (LSSSSB) was jointly chaired by Sh. Sonam Nurboo, JKAS, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Leh, and Sh. Ghulam Mohd, JKAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Leh, on 5th December, 2025 at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Leh.
The meeting focused on reviewing the arrangements, identifying potential challenges, and ensuring robust coordination mechanisms ahead of the examination scheduled for Sunday, 7th December 2025.
Sh. Jigmet Angchuk, JKAS, Under Secretary, LSSSSB, briefed on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be followed on the day of the exam. The briefing covered essential instructions regarding the examination timeline, centre-level coordination, opening and distribution of question booklets, secure handling and sealing of OMR sheets, and completion of all mandatory documentation, including attendance records, invigilators’ certificates, and required undertakings.
It was informed that four examination centres have been designated, each equipped with Centre Supervisors, Assistant Supervisors, and Venue Coordinators to ensure smooth conduct and timely communication across levels.
Reiterating the significance of a fair and secure examination process, the chair stressed strict adherence to fairness, transparency, and confidentiality to ensure the examination is conducted smoothly.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from various departments, including Additional Superintendent of Police, Leh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters Superintendent of Police, Leh, Dy. SP Traffic, UT Ladakh, Under Secretary, LSSSSB Ladakh, Headquarter Assistant to DC, Leh (Coordinating Supervisor), Coordinating Supervisors, Centre Supervisors, and Magisterial Duty officers.
The administration expressed confidence that with coordinated efforts and strict compliance with SOPs, the LSSSSB Matriculation Level Examination will be conducted efficiently and successfully across all designated centres.
