RAMBAN, MAY 14: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban Harbans Sharma today visited Banihal and inspected the langar site developed for AmarnathJi Yatris .
Sub Divisional Magistrate Banihal, Zaheer Abass and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
He also inspected lodgment centres from Ramban to Banihal established for the stay of Yatries.
He instructed the concerned stakeholders to ensure completion of works by implementing all plans and directions issued from time to time for the smooth conduct of holy yatra.
Later, the ADC also inspected National highway four laning construction works and directed the NHAI to complete all identified works to provide safe passage to the commuters. He also appreciated the ongoing works of the National Highway.
He directed representatives of NHAI and construction companies to maintain the Highway and station adequate machinery at all vulnerable places to clear the blockades without any delay.
