LEH, March 24: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Leh, Sonam Chosjor today convened a meeting with the concerned department regarding the arrangement for the month of Ramadan.
ADC Leh directed the PDD, PHE, FCS&CA, and Cooperative Department to ensure the availability of ration and essential commodities during Ramadan.
The concerned officers briefed the ADC regarding necessary arrangements being put in place besides the status of the availability of essential commodities for the coming holy month of Ramadan.
Also, ADC Leh was requested to send a team to inspect the quality of meat and chicken at the retail outlets. Further, it was informed that recently the Rate Fixation Committee has fixed the rates of vegetables and fruits.
Officers from different departments and religious heads were present during the meeting.
