14th Foundation Day of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust and Kailakh Sanskrit Ratna Award Ceremony to be held on 11th December

Jammu, J&K: The 14th Foundation Day of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust and the Kailakh Sanskrit Ratna Award Ceremony will be celebrated in a grand manner on Thursday, 11th December at 03:00 PM at Majestic Grand Resort, Mishriwala, Jammu. The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.

On this auspicious occasion, the Kailakh Sanskrit Ratna Award – 2025 will be conferred on Prof. Srinivasa Varakhedi, Vice Chancellor, Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi.

In preparation for the event, an important meeting was held today at the residence of Jammu North MLA Shri Sham lal Sharma. On the occasion, Shri Sharma stated that this event will prove to be a milestone in the direction of Sanskrit upliftment and promotion of our cultural heritage.

Trust President and State Awardee Mahant Rohit Shastri informed that along with the Foundation Day celebrations, a Farmers’ Fair will also be organized. The fair will showcase local agricultural products and Jammu’s traditional art forms such as Kud dance, Basohli art, Pashmina shawls, a free medical camp, Dogra cuisine, and various other cultural exhibitions which will be the main attractions.

He further added that a community feast (Bhandara) will be organized at the conclusion of the event. Scholars, saints, and Sanskrit enthusiasts from across the country will participate in the program, and therefore, all Sanskrit lovers are cordially invited.

The meeting was attended by Vinay Jamwal, Vinay Aggarwal, Bhushan Jamwal, Surinder Singh (Gilli), Ankush Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Uttam Chand Sharma, Lucky Sharma, Rakesh Singh, Rajan Sharma, Rakesh Gandotra, Pramod Sharma, YashSeth, Rajendra Seth, Master Vijay Kumar, Babu Ram, Abhiraj Sharma, along with other distinguished members of the Trust.
